The Old Hall Inn - Chinley

This family run, 16th century inn offers en suite rooms with a flat-screen TV. The room also includes hot drink making facilities. Some rooms are situated in the adjacent sister property, The Paper Mill Inn.

Full English breakfasts and daily meals are served in the Minstrels Gallery, which connects The Old Hall Inn with the neighbouring Elizabethan manor house, Whitehough Hall. The traditional country pub offers a seasonal menu with traditional favourites, prepared using local produce. The bar serves a wide selection of local ales.

Chatsworth House is 20 miles away and the area of Kinder Scout offers scenic walks, just 20 minutes’ drive away. Free private parking is available.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that this property comprises of two buildings, The Old Hall and The Papermill Inn. The rooms available can be situated in either the old or new building but are of the same standard.

An additional toilet is available on the ground floor. The property features a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room with a wood burner and a music docking station. Two Bedroom Annex. This double room features a flat-screen TV, electric kettle and teacoffee maker. The Paper Mill Annex is two separate double bedrooms, located one on top of the other. Compact but characterful rooms that are to the rear of our sister pub the paper mill inn. They have the advantage of not being directly above the Inn, so only really susceptible to noise from the guests that you come with. The rooms have their own ensuite and entrance but can only be booked as this one unit. Not recommended for very young families as each of the rooms have separate external entrances. ;
Studio with Mountain View. Guests will have a special experience as this studio provides a fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, kitchenware, an oven and a microwave. The studio offers a private entrance, soundproof walls, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The unit offers 1 bed.
